Timeless Elegance with a Touch of Hoosier Spirit
Abby and Caleb wanted a wedding that would feel just as beautiful years from now as it did on the day they celebrated it. Their vision was timeless and elegant, filled with classic details and thoughtful florals, but they also knew there needed to be a few touches that felt genuinely like them.
For these two, that meant finding a way to bring their love for IU into the celebration, incorporating a late-night snack that couldn't have been more fitting, and creating a reception where their favorite people could truly let loose and celebrate.
And their people absolutely understood the assignment.
The Vision
Timeless and elegant served as the foundation for Abby and Caleb's day at The Barn at Bay Horse Inn. Beautiful florals, classic details, and a refined design created the setting, while smaller personal touches made sure the celebration still felt unmistakably like the two of them.
One of those details was a nod to something they both love: Indiana University.
IU swag towels were hung from each guest's chair, adding a fun touch of Hoosier spirit to the reception without taking away from the overall elegance of the room. Those towels would come in handy later when the dance floor turned into an all-out hype party to "This Is Indiana."
It was the perfect example of what personalizing a wedding can look like. Not every meaningful detail has to become the theme. Sometimes the best ones are simply woven into an otherwise timeless celebration.
Bringing It All Together
Our Navi Coordination team completed the full setup and tear down of Abby and Caleb's decor, bringing all of those carefully selected details together before guests arrived.
From the reception tables and linens to the florals and finishing touches throughout the space, the end result felt polished and elegant while still leaving plenty of room for the fun that was to come.
And there was plenty of fun to come.
With a wedding party and guest list that came ready to celebrate, it didn't take long for the energy of the day to shift from elegant wedding reception to one incredible party.
From Ceremony to Celebration
Abby's sister, Ally, stood beside her as maid of honor and later gave one of the most memorable maid of honor speeches we've had the privilege of hearing. It was heartfelt, personal, and one of those speeches that reminds you just how special it is to have the people who know you best standing beside you on your wedding day.
This won't be the last time we get to celebrate with this family, either. Ally will have her own turn as the bride in fall 2027, and Navi Coordination will be there to coordinate her wedding, too. Stay tuned for that one!
Once the formalities were over, Abby and Caleb's crew came to party.
The dance floor stayed full, the IU towels made their return, and "This Is Indiana" turned into a full-fledged Hoosier hype party. The elegant reception they had envisioned transformed into exactly what a reception should be: a room full of the people they love having an incredible time together.
The Final Result
Of course, no great party is complete without a late-night snack.
When the conversation about late-night food first came up, there really wasn't much of a decision to make. With Caleb co-owning a Little Caesars franchise, pizza was the obvious choice.
And truly, the photos speak for themselves.
It was another detail that didn't need to be elaborate to be meaningful. It was fun, personal, and completely fitting for Abby and Caleb.
Their day managed to be both timeless and full of personality. From the elegant details that greeted guests when they arrived to IU spirit taking over the dance floor and Little Caesars making its late-night appearance, every piece came together to create a celebration that felt genuinely like them.
And judging by a dance floor that stayed packed all night long, their guests were more than happy to celebrate right alongside them.
